Yulhee Embarks on a New Chapter After Divorce from Choi Minhwan “Debut as an Actress with ‘My Partner is a Devil'”
According to Herald POP on January 21, former LABOUM member Yulhee has been cast as the female lead in the short-form drama “My Partner is a Devil”.
According to a drama insider, Yulhee has begun filming, and the drama is set to premiere through the platform “Alwayz” in March.
On the same day, Yulhee shared a photo of the “My Partner is a Devil” script on her personal channel, expressing her determination with the caption, “My Partner is a Devil Fighting!”
Yulhee debuted in 2014 as a member of the girl group LABOUM. She married F.T. Island’s Choi Minhwan in November 2017, and the couple had one son and two daughters together. However, their five-year marriage ended in divorce last year.
Amid rampant speculation about the reasons for their divorce, Yulhee alleged that Choi Minhwan was involved in prostitution and forced indecent act, causing significant controversy. Following this, Yulhee filed a petition for mediation with the Seoul Family Court to change custody arrangements and request alimony and division of assets.
Recently, Yulhee hinted at a fresh start by cutting her hair short, signaling a transformation. With her drama debut on the horizon and her new look, there is growing interest in Yulhee’s next chapter.
